I am currently a PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) co-advised by Professors Judy L. Hoyt and Dimitri A. Antoniadis.
My research interests include strain engineering, high-mobility transistors, tunneling transistors (TFETs), quantum device structures, and emerging materials and devices. My PhD thesis studies the fundamental limits of switching abruptness of tunneling transistors. Past work has included study of strained Si, strained Ge, strained SiGe, InAs, and GaSb material systems.
I received a Master of Science from MIT in 2010 and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008. I expect to receive my PhD in February 2015.
